Ugochi Okoro will be responsible for spearheading all activities surrounding the operations of the Bank in the most effective manner in line with the Bank's overall strategy.
Ugochi has over 25 years of rich banking experience which spans key areas including Customer Service, Marketing, Value Chain and Banking Operations.
Ugochi began her banking career in 1998 at Equity Bank in Nigeria. She later joined Intercontinental Bank in 2005 as Head of Operations and subsequently as Branch Operations Manager after the merger with Access Bank Plc in 2011.
While at Access Bank, she has worked in several capacities including Sub Zonal Head for Retail Operations, Zonal Head, Business Banking and Sector Head, Employee Value Chain in Personal Banking.
Prior to her appointment as Country Operations Officer for Access Bank (Ghana) Plc, she was the Country Operations Officer in Access Bank Cameroon Plc where she was instrumental in setting up the Bank’s operations from 2018.
Ugochi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar in Nigeria and an MBA in Chartered Banking from Bangor University in Wales (United Kingdom).
