   The requirement is dependent on the type of Mortgage variant the customer applies for. Please find below general requirements:   


General Requirements

For customers resident in Ghana (salaried workers)


  • A duly signed request letter
  • Three (3) Months’ Pay Slip for existing account holders.
  • Six (6) Months’ Pay Slip and Bank Statement for new accounts
  • Letter of Undertaking from the employer
  • Receipt of a clean credit check on borrower
  • Executed Legal Mortgage over the property being financed.
  • Receipt of copy of title documents in the name of the vendor/seller
  • Clean Search report over the property being financed.
  • Down payment of a minimum of 20% of the total cost of the property by applicant.
  • An undertaking from Vendor, owner of the property to deliver all title documents in the name of the buyer/borrower upon payment of the property being financed by the Bank.
  • Valid National ID (Ghana Card)
  • 1 Passport Size Photograph
  • Receipt of Credit life Insurance
  • Receipt of property insurance
  • Receipt of Offer letter from Vendor indicating purchasing price and purchase terms.
  • Payment of all upfront fees


For customers resident in Ghana (self employed)

  •  A duly signed request letter
  •  Business registration documents
  • Three (3) years Business bank statements
  • 1-year personal bank statement
  • Receipt of a clean credit check on borrower
  • Executed Legal Mortgage over the property being financed
  • Receipt of copy of title documents in the name of the vendor/seller
  • Clean Search report over the property being financed
  • Down payment of minimum 30% of the total cost of the property by applicant.
  • An undertaking from Vendor, owner of the property to deliver all title documents in the name of the buyer/borrower upon payment of the property being financed by the Bank.
  • Valid National ID (Ghana Card)
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Receipt of Credit life Insurance
  • Receipt of Property insurance
  • Receipt of Offer letter from Vendor indicating purchasing price and purchase terms.
  • Payment of all upfront fees
  • 3 years audited financials of the business
  • Company profile
  • Receipt of Board Resolution authorizing the borrowing and naming the offers mandated to sign the offer (if applicable)

 

For Ghanaians resident outside Ghana (salaried workers)

  • A duly completed request letter
  • Proof of Income - Last current 3 month’s Pay slips (Notarize)
  • Six (6) Months’ Pay Slip and Bank Statement (Notarize)
  • Introductory letter from employer (Notarize)
  • Receipt of a clean Credit Reference Bureau Report (Notarize)
  • Executed Legal Mortgage over the property being financed.
  • Receipt of copy of title documents in the name of the vendor/seller
  • Clean Search report over the property being financed.
  • Down payment of minimum 20% of the total cost of the property by applicant.
  • An undertaking from Vendor, owner of the property to deliver all title documents in the name of the buyer/borrower upon payment of the property being financed by the Bank.
  • ID/Passport and proof of being Ghanaian (Notarize)
  • 1 coloured Passport Size Photograh
  • Evidence of current Physical Address e.g. utility bill (Notarize)
  • Letter of Employment from previous employer (worked less than 2years with current employer) (Notarize)
  • Next of KIN.(Include Bio page of passport ID), Contact number, postal address and residential address.
  • Receipt of Credit life Insurance
  • Receipt of Property Insurance
  • Receipt of Offer letter from Vendor indicating purchasing price and purchase terms.
  • Payment of all upfront fees. 

 

 Application process 

  • Customer requests for the loan 
  • Customer's affordability/eligibility is advised based on salary, property value and age 
  • Documentation requirements is advised 
  • Submission of documents for further review and processing 
  • Approval is requested and granted 
  • Loan is disbursed accordingly
